A Right Direction in Technology

I felt reassured after reading “iPhone Killer: The Secret History of the Apple Watch” on WIRED. It seems Apple is well aware of the nature of technology and the pressing problems in the smartphone era, for which Apple itself is in large part responsible. Technology in general should enhance human life, while its existence blends in the world and becomes inconspicuous.
Technology distracts us from the things we should pay the most attention to—our friends, moments of awe, a smile from across the room. But maybe a technology can give those moments back.
